Cybersecurity: The Critical Issues for Barristers
The NSW Bar Association's Media and Information Law and Technology Committee is pleased to invite you to attend the second online seminar in its 2024 Cybersecurity Seminar Series, titled: ‘Cybersecurity: the critical issues for barristers’. On Tuesday, 29 October 2024 at 5:00-6:00pm two leading cybersecurity experts, Yohesh Khatri and Alireza Nahid, will discuss the most important issues topics affecting barristers, including:
(i) What threats arise from the nature of barristers’ practices?
(ii) Case studies – how cybersecurity issues have affected lawyers.
(iii) Lessons we can learn and practices we might consider adopting.
Yogesh Khatri is Director, Capability and DFIR at one of Australia’s leading cyber-security firms, CyberCX. Mr Khatri has been in the Digital Forensics & Incident Response (DFIR) domain for 19 years as an analyst, investigator, developer, researcher, and educator. Alireza Nahid is the Managing Director and founder of Cyber Ally, with over 20 years of experience in senior roles and multiple cybersecurity disciplines.
MILT Committee members Tamir Maltz and Pouyan Afshar will moderate the seminar.
